Job Title: Casual Before and After School Care Worker

Location: Mackay QLD and Surrounding Suburbs

Job Description: We are seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team as Before and After School Care Team in Mackay. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for children before and after school hours. Your duties will include supervising activities, assisting coordinator, facilitating games and crafts, and ensuring the well-being of all children in your care. You be able to work with different schools and OSHC providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise children before and after school hours
• Facilitate age-appropriate activities and games
• Assist children with homework and academic tasks
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the program.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
• Maintain a clean and organized environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children preferred but not mandatory
• No qualifications required
• Studying towards or Qualified in Early Childhood or Education highly favourable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Must have Valid Employee Working with Children Check (BLUE Card) required

Pay Rate: Starting from $35 per hour, with potential for increases based on experience and qualifications.
